Cookies Policy

Last updated: 27 May 2026 · Version 1.0

The short version: we use one essential cookie to keep you logged in. We set no marketing, analytics, or advertising cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies when you visit the checkout page — those are essential to process the payment you initiated.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies let a site remember your preferences or keep you logged in across page loads. Some cookies are essential to make the site work at all; others are used for analytics or advertising. This page explains exactly what cookies Squeezekit uses, why, and how long they last.

2. Cookies we set ourselves (first-party)

Name Purpose Category Duration
squeezekit_sid Keeps you logged in across pages. Also holds CSRF token to protect form submissions. Essential 30 days (expires sooner if you log out)

This is the only cookie we set ourselves. It is HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax. Without it you cannot log in.

3. Third-party cookies (only on specific pages)

When you visit a Stripe-hosted payment page (Pro / Ultra checkout) Stripe sets its own cookies to process the payment and detect fraud. These are essential for the transaction; they are governed by Stripe's cookie policy. We do not control them.

Provider When set Purpose
Stripe Only when you open the Pro/Ultra checkout Process payment, detect fraud (essential)

4. What we do NOT use

Because we do not run any non-essential cookies we are not required under the EU ePrivacy Directive to show a consent banner.

5. How to control cookies

6. Local storage

In addition to the cookie above we may use your browser's localStorage to remember your last selected output format and other UI preferences. This data lives only in your browser, never reaches our servers. You can clear it any time from your browser's storage settings.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever start using a non-essential cookie (we do not currently plan to) we will update this page, change the "Last updated" date, and ask for your consent via a banner before setting it.
